Welcome to the Christian Church of Ashland (Oregon, USA). We are located in downtown Ashland, a few blocks from Southern Oregon University. Folk travel from all over the West to attend Ashland’s Shakespeare Festival, often parking here at the church and walking to these highly acclaimed stage works of the master playwright. This makes for an exciting place to minister and serve Christ. We are not a large congregation, yet anyone visiting would easily see that we are always finding new ways to penetrate a community and world in need of the love of Christ.

Everybody in our region seems to know about our monthly Old Time Movie Night when we show classics of about every genre. The auditorium becomes a place for the community to gather for great entertainment and fellowship. Throughout the year we offer the ALPHA course, a tutorial on the basics of Christianity. Small Groups are a vital part of our congregation’s life and vitality.
What do we believe? That’s always an important question. You can expect to hear sermons that reflect a deep belief in the authority and sufficiency of the scriptures. You’ll hear about the redemptive of work of Jesus at Calvary and the universal need for the Savior. Yet as ‘straight arrow’ as we are you won’t feel judged if you still have big questions about the Bible. Some people are in need of a place to catch their breath or lick their wounds following a painful experience in another church setting. While we teach that Jesus is the answer to life’s challenges we also realize that the Jesus Story requires a lot of faith. We’ll give you ample time to listen, search and ask questions.
