Christian Church of Ashland has a long history in our community.  Established in 1898, the congregation has been an effective and continuing witness for our Lord and Savior with a vision that extends from here to distant parts of our planet providing financial and/or manpower support to missions on five continents.  We are serious about the Great Commission given by Jesus to His disciples.

And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation."  (Mark 16:15)

We believe in the ministry of all believers and the authority of the New Testament as a completely adequate guide in matters of faith.  The Bible as a whole explains God’s plan and purpose for His creation.  To find out more about us check out What kind of church is this?

Christian Church of Ashland is presently in a time of transition.  This means we are taking a fresh look at the ministry and programs of our congregation.  We are blessed by solid preaching each week from an experienced interim pastor who challenges our hearts and minds and motivates us to service.  The situation provides an unusual opportunity for those looking to find a place of service in the Kingdom.  There is a positive attitude as we work together and look forward to our future to discover what God has in store for us.

Ashland is a great little city with many recreational, educational and cultural opportunities to commend it.  It is also a city of great diversity.  With so many options for investing time and energy the ministry of the gospel of Christ can be given a low priority.  Our challenge is to find ways to give it the hearing it deserves.  We believe this is a matter of eternal significance.  Will you give us a chance to share what we have found?  The best time for this to happen is 9-12 am on Sundays inside the building on the corner of 2nd and B Street.  You can also listen to sermons and/or read a church newsletter from this website.  Hope to see you soon.
